Issue: Large potholes, cracked pavement, and broken streetlights on the main connecting road in Ward 4, Khurja, led to regular traffic congestion, motorbike skids, and at least three minor accidents involving school children.

  • Action Taken:

    • Complaint acknowledged within 12 hours.

    • Public Works Department scheduled a joint inspection with local RLD representative on 5th June.

    • Repair tender expedited through municipal fast-track channel.

    • LED streetlights replaced, potholes filled, and full asphalt resurfacing completed by 13th June.

  • Status: ✅ Resolved – Road fully functional with improved lighting.

  • Review: Local residents posted positive feedback on social media with before-after images.

Issue: Entire Baghpat village experienced zero access to clean water for over 21 days. Borewell dried out, and handpumps were defunct. Daily life and hygiene, especially for children and the elderly, was critically affected.

    • Escalated to Jal Board on 8th June.

    • Team inspection on 9th June confirmed need for immediate borewell intervention.

    • Emergency water tankers deployed starting 10th June.

    • Borewell drilling and pump installation completed by 21st June.

  • Status: ✅ Resolved – Regular water restored, with maintenance monitoring every 15 days.

  • Review: Village community held a gratitude event; RLD’s efforts were featured in local newspaper “Baghpat Samachar.”

Issue: Daily power cuts in Shastri Nagar, Meerut, especially during 7–10 PM, left residents without cooling appliances in 45°C temperatures. Students couldn’t study; hospitals faced inverter dependency.

  • Action Taken:

    • Local electricity department (Paschimanchal Vidyut) contacted by RLD grievance officer.

    • Site load report showed 70% transformer overload.

    • Approval secured for upgrade from 100kVA to 250kVA unit.

    • Installation and testing completed by 18th July.

  • Status: ✅ Resolved – Stable electricity for last 30 days, monitored via citizen feedback.

  • Review: Public shared “light restored” stories online, praising quick coordination.

Issue: No ambulance in Sikandrabad block, making emergency transfers especially for maternal cases and accidents difficult. Recent incident involved a heart patient who had to wait 2 hours for transfer.

    • Health Department notified.

    • Temporary ambulance dispatched from Dadri CHC.

    • Proposal passed for permanent ambulance allocation under NRHM.

    • New ambulance stationed at Sikandrabad PHC by 17th June.

    • Helpline posters circulated through panchayats.

  • Status: ✅ Resolved – 24×7 ambulance support operational.

  • Review: Positive community response; one case of successful emergency delivery documented.

Issue: Repeated incidents of harassment near Aligarh Girls College after 6 PM. Poor lighting and lack of police presence created a sense of fear among students and parents.

  • Location: Outside Gate No. 2, Aligarh Girls College

  • Action Taken:

    • FIR registered with Aligarh Police on 30th May.

    • Street lighting repaired.

    • Night patrolling frequency increased.

    • CCTV camera installation sanctioned by municipality on 2nd June.

    • Women’s grievance redressal cell opened in college.

  • Status: ⚙️ In Progress – Patrols active; CCTV expected by mid-July.

  • Review: Students report safer environment; one volunteer group launched safety escort initiative.
